You do have to wonder based on last night if Gaza is to the Muslim vote for Labour what Student Loans betrayal was to the student vote for Lib Dems. A profound breaking of trust that could take more than a generation to recover.

I don't know if it is or not and I guess it might depend on what happens in Israel and Palestine between now and the next election, but it's a hell of a big vote chunk to lose if so.

You can actually travel from Brighton to Berwick-upon-Tweed without going through a Tory area, before the Scottish Borders let the side down.

This is the area that I grew up in and my parents still live. It was pretty solidly Lib Dem while I was growing up until the Lib Dem wipeout in 2015 and they have never recovered. Went briefly SNP at that election (as with almost every other constituency in Scotland) and has remained stubbornly Tory ever since even with their national popularity waning.

Girls, we went from three Far Right MPs in 2017 to 88 in 2022 and most probably a majority in the parliament this coming Sunday. All under a weak Centre Right presidency. Don’t let it happen to you 😘

I'd like to take a moment to celebrate the loss of some of my least favourite lower-rung, but still utterly dreadful, dregs of the past few years.

Andrew Bridgen: GONE :disco:

Essentially the Glinner of Parliament, though his wife and career left due to him being mental about about vaccines, primarily. Went Independent after becoming too big a piece of shit even for the Conservative party, and last night came second to last in his constituency with 1.5k votes. Hahahahaha

Jonathan Gullis: GONE :disco:

i.e. This braying cunt -

Gary Sambrook Eats Big Dinners: GONE :disco:

Voted against free school dinners, became the 'victim' of this graffiti, and then owned himself beautifully by tweeting it out, launching a thousand memes. Currently tucking into a big commiseratory dinner, one expects

Ben Bradley: GONE :disco:

Styled himself as "the first brick in the blue wall" after the last election. Now one of many blue bricks in a skip. Probably best remembered (from his one, single term in parliament) for his comments about not wanting free school meal vouchers to go to kids living in crack dens and brothels, but whenever I've seen him pop up he's been absolutely rancid. After failing to become the Mayor of the East Midlands back in May, this is actually Ben's second election rejection in the space of two month. Hahahahaha

GOODBYE YOU HORRIBLE PEOPLE

I was reading this thread back...I was slightly drunker than I thought, I reckon. Quite sweary at times too.
