they've been mentioned here before but they've more than earned their thread thanks to colder and closer. it is smooth operator meets 80s madonna meets sandra.



i obviously quite like the previous effort (which made a big splash around me):



but i prefer the feverish disco smut of the new one even more obviously.

Colder & Closer is wonderful, if quite different from the two previous songs released. I will definitely be checking the album out.

Gave the album a listen today. The singles are probably the standouts but it is all very nice. They aren't a million miles away from the recent Tennis album on some of it and there's a bit of early Cardigans about Pirouette:
