Is it The Stranger? If so, I watched that last year and it was great too. I'd definitely recommend watching it once you finish Stay Close.

I am not sure, I can see two Harlan ones on there. Both will probably worth a look. I find it interesting they have set this one in the UK, is this show on Netflix america? If so I imagine its a pretty big gig for the cast...

Started watching SCREW and let’s just say it’s no Bad Girls. Watched 2 of them then deleted the rest.

Oh god I ended up watching this one last night (there's two episodes to it btw) and its so chilling. I won't say anymore but be warned its a difficult watch.

So sad, and what a piece of work. I think it was the recording of the other child's interview that really got to me for some reason

It was very good, as it usually is, though the 24 Hours part seems to have been abandoned completely long ago.

There's just TOO MUCH to watch at the moment

About to start Series 3 of the BAY even though I was going to not watch as the main character is now not in it and I liked her

Recording Rules of the Game which started last night but will depend on reviews if I give that a go.

Moopy TV Club - which Harlan Coban drama should I watch next - 'Safe' or 'The Stranger' ?!

I just re-watched ‘The Stranger’ and it is knock-out brilliant. I would go with that (but they’re all great! 😀). I am sure if I had watched ‘Safe’ again I would be recommending that.

Did all of After Life 3 last night. Loved it.

Finally started The Tourist tonight, just the one episode. It's hard to get past just how hot Jamie Dornan is, but I think I enjoyed it.

Jamie's in his pants in episode 3, so something for you to look forward to. I've enjoyed it so far.

The assassination of Gianni Versace, meant to watch this a long time ago but always sth else was coming first. I imagine Andrew will be a hit in forensic psychology dissertations, am almost at the end and still can't figure him out.

Junior Bake Off which is so charming. Even Paul Hollywood didn't seem quite so annoying during his stint covering. I am still slightly dubious about how they can judge nine year olds against fifteen year olds though.

I'm a couple of episodes in on the new series of The Bay and I think the replacement lead is working out fine.

On Netflix I am currently on Season 10 of the US Shameless. It still has its moments but you can tell it was coming to the end of the line. Looking forward to the new season of Ozark being released.

How busy has Sheridan Smith been? Just seen a trailor for a new ITV drama with her in AND one for Channel 5. On top of Four Lives and whatever else she's done recently.
She must have been filming back to back in 2021.

Presumably her recent Jonathan Ross episode was due to exhaustion.

Maxine Peake has been busy as well. Two dramas and narrating that Kelvin Fletcher thing before we're three weeks into the year.

I watched the first episode last night, Shameless can have a break. I see they are splitting the 'final' season into two, which seems to be the done thing now.

I'm glad we're getting it in sizeable chunks. I like Snowcatcher a lot, which starts back in a few days, but 1 per week is so slow for me.

I know she maybe isn't quite the name she was a few years back but isn't a Channel 5 drama is slumming it a bit for her? Former soap star vehicles are more typical for them.

I did think this, if she wasn't doing anything else I'd be a bit worried, but i guess C5 are trying to up their game in the drama stakes and probably gave her a fat pay cheque!

I think my favourites I have watched Sheridan in would be Mrs Biggs, CILLA, and Cleaning Up.

I know it was presumably necessary to keep the show on the road but having everyone at two arms' length on Call The Midwife is really distracting. Lucille and Cyrill celebrate their pregnancy by clasping hands from either end of the dining table.

I do think they could have done with bringing in another young midwife as well, the show misses that group dynamic from earlier series.

Just finished watching episodes 1 & 2 of The Bay. Can't say it's particularly compelling.
