I think I'll watch Querelle and see if it has its usual effect on Mr L tonight.
 
He's had quite a lot of mental health/anxiety struggles in recent years hasn't he? Although the video isn’t quite to my tastes, I think it’s nice that he seems to be in a more confident frame of mind.

This is classic Moopy. Will Young releases an amazing song with a tongue-in-cheek video and because it’s not Nadine Coyle it is instantly dismissed. Probably one of the best new songs I’ve heard in a while, certainly since Renaida- All the Feels. It has a spacious, reflective feel to it that reminds me tonally and thematically of Songs Remind Me Of You by Annie.
 
Considering last year he said he would never step foot back in to a studio again as he did not enjoy it, I would say he has some form of Bi Polar disorder.

We all saw that boner in the bath pic a couple of years ago that surfaced days after he said “I’m surprised my dick pics haven’t leaked” (or if not, freezeframed that scene in that film he got his kit off for) so it wouldn’t have been anything new.

See I just can't get onboard.

Especially after I picked up his autobiography from Poundland (Devil's #1 shop) and not only does he seem so bloody miserable, he was just so boring it was nearly beyond belief someone like that could actually be a popstar.
 
I'm not sure how valuable of a metric it is for an artist like him these days, but the video has only had just over 100k YouTube views in a week, which seems low. Also 86k on Spotify, though I wouldn't have expected that to be a strong platform for him.

I was watching American Idol earlier. A young Christian homosexual reminded me of a younger Will Young. I think it was the chin.
 
If I were being nice I would say that is a bold choice of jean.

He looks like he is enjoying himself and My Love is a winner in original and remixed forms so all is well. Expecting good things from the album.
 
On first listen this is no Echoes pt 2. All seemed very pleasant but the songs are not as strong and the production doesn't have that same magic.
 
So the album grew on me quite a bit. Plenty of good songs on there, even if occasionally his voice drifts into a tone that isn't entirely pleasant.

Ground Running is the current single, though the lyric video does draw attention to the use of 'TRYNA', which feels like a very un-Will Young word.



I think I might have been tempted to go for Scars, which is a quite lovely thing in a more ballady direction.
