WE MESSED THIS UP, ALRIGHT!
No Doubt About It was just barely eliminated. On to the final 3!

Captures the queasy thrill of having a massive row with your partner (“There I go, stomping my feet like a child!”). On these songs, the knowledge that ABBA’s line-up comprises not one but two former couples only heightens the emotional charge. There’s also a slight element of wish fulfilment, perhaps, in Ulvaeus and Andersson writing lyrics like “but he is a good man” for their ex-wives to sing.
- New Musical Express
A rocker. Has a bit of an 80s vibe with the electric guitar, ooohh I love that low synthy stuff on the verses!
I like this. I think I’m going to come back for this with relish too. I’m feeling them as a band on this one, the vocal blend, lovely.
- Diddy
Another prime slice of upbeat, down-low Abba pop class.
- The Arts Desk
This sounds more like an 80s Frida track than an ABBA song. It’s punchy, I like it.
- Pingu
Good Lord, this is 80s high drag :D
- Loufoque
Eighties synth glitz.
- Rolling Stone
I genuinely think that it’s an incredible psychodrama counterpart to Me and I. It makes me wonder how much Bjorn and Frida liked each other. I feel like Head Over Feels was also inspired by Frida being a fabulous attention-seeking piece of work.
- HerSereneHighnessAnniFrid

This is where it ends!

As ‘I Still Have Faith In You’ has received 10 votes the poll closes in 24h. It’s still close so make your vote read!

What a disaster

I like KAEOD less the more I hear its shit lyrics

Keep an eye on Dan
Promise that you can
Here’s a tin of spam
Gangsta Nancy Lam

Is Keep an Eye on Dan really that popular? I mean it's nice but COME ON. I Still Have Faith In You is their COMEBACK SINGLE ABOUT THEM COMING BACK!

The only reason ISHFIY has gotten this far is it’s onus of being THE comeback single.

If it had been a common album track no one would’ve given a fuck about this pretentious pondering. We all know Frida! Her heightened existence would never question her own self worth. Not even at the nadir of her withdrawal phase.

It’s persistent repeating nature the main point of the chorus! Instead of opening up her heart she keeps nagging about the dog. Poor woman!

Contrast this with the richer, momentous nature of the verses, where we get her uncensored thoughts. The instrumentation is also wonderful :disco:

See I don’t think so, even if for some reason they hadn’t picked this as a comeback single, the fans would’ve projected the same sort of comeback meaning on it

STRONG disagree. It's really a masterpiece of a song, with an amazing arrangement, poignant lyrics and just the right amount of sentimentality, passion and self-awareness to be inspiring and stirring.

Compare to the lyrics to KAEOD: "Keep an eye on Dan. Promise that you can." GROUNDBREAKING :manson:

There is someone who has voted for both. Why don’t you bombard him with PMs arguing why he is wrong and should vote for Keep An Eye On Dan only?

Listen @Iguana I know that you get all weepy listening to the long-awaited return group you've adored for about 50 minutes getting sentimental about one another so I understand where your vote has gone, but there's no need to get spiteful about the other candidates.

I'm sorry, it's not my fault I haven't been waiting 53 years like you have!

62 years actually, and I've waited that long for a new ABBA song, ie the domestic drama of Keep An Eye On Dan and Don't Shut Me Down, not a load of septuagenarians getting nostalgic over a recycled musical theatre track.

Well at least if nothing changes in the next half an hour this will be the final round.

Although I would point out to @ZenGiraffe that Keep An Eye On Dan has more synths than I Still Have Faith In You and crucially, is shorter.

I'd suggest a tie break but there's a pretty high chance that won't change anything either :D

Sorry, I didn't realise the poll was closing. I would genuinely have done this if I had noticed, I Still Have Faith in You is DRECK

Well just make them both lovely runner ups and Don’t Shut Me Down wins!

Then there can be PEACE

It’s like a gay version of the UN General Assembly.

I mean Don’t Shut Me Down is obviously going to win (even though it should be I Still Have Faith In You).

Save yourself the hassle Hak, love.

No. None of this Olympic High Jump nonsense. There can be only one.
