Vanity is surprisingly funny, her talking heads and reactions will leave a huge gap for me. I don't mind Kitty's brand, or didn't before, but the insistence that she and Kween are top of the class leaves me incredulous. Their producers definitely encourage all this revolting behaviour, but at what point can't people hold firm and not fall for it.
 
Yeah, that felt rotten. Whatever you thought of the drag (and I thought she was far and away the winner, with Kween’s admittedly great make up giving them second), Nelly did nothing to deserve that. Despite the absolute cuntiness earlier in the season, she complimented Kween, obviously her biggest competition, and had her “moment” stolen by a jealous and bitter queen. In what world was Nelly ever in the bottom?!? Absolute bullying, plain and simple…
 
I also thought there was obvious lip sync editing as Vanity seemed to do fuck all, which has never been the case so far. Kitty was always going to win it, though, and I think was different enough to probably deserve it, though overall I would have put her up against Tessa in the bottom two anyway.

Will also miss Vanity. Loved what she brought to the show.

I really think that for these pre-recorded challenges, they should allow the non-English language contestants record in their own languages if they want to, and subtitle them. They're obviously so restricted, and I really did not need ten minutes of Michelle lecturing Nelly and Tessa on their pronunciation.

Let's face it, the casting of Alyssa in it was essentially all about getting her a crown, wasn't it?

And the fact that she got her second win at this stage together with Kitty and Kween ending up bottom two the last two weeks after performing better throughout the season is very much building to that climax.

Nehellenia clearly isn't going to win. And Alyssa is the least problematic of the other three, so I'll take it, if it happens.
 
It’s a very strange edit. They’ve given Kitty and Kween enough rope to make their victories unthinkable despite their frontrunner status, Nelly hasn’t had a winners edit at all and post week one and this episode Alyssa has just sort of been… there.

Yeah I can’t imagine her doing this without a stipulation. She’s a Queen that doesn’t need the show really but she would die for a win.
 
I knew Tessa would go, but it was still sad cuz she was my fave of the season. She's very oblivious and annoying af, which I relate to so much 😭, but I love that she didn't make that her entire drag act and had an actual talent. She was easily the runway queen of the season for me. Probably why she had such an interesting edit. Ru basically hated her in the beginning, I thought, but became endeared to her in the end.

It was obvious from the beginning that this season was basically tailor-made for an Alyssa win. The challeng was a complete write-off, so it all came down to the runway, which Alyssa rightfully won imo. Kween's look was so poor.
 
I wanna see Tessa and Vanity again! And probably Nehellenia too. (STILL obsessing over Vanity's Celine Dion lip sync :disco: )

I never want to see Kitty or Kween ever again. Mediocre af.
 
I'm not mad at Alyssa winning this week, although I could see it justifiably going to to Nehellenia as well. But let's face it, a branding challenge at this stage was put there specifically to give Alyssa a win going into the final, wasn't it?

Same. Alyssa did very well but Nelly felt so much more fun
 
I don’t remotely understand Alyssa’s win, albeit that I think she’s been joyous this season and I do love her generally. It was surely Kitty vs Nehelennia for the win?
 
I don't mind a lip sync episode when the songs are good (or indeed when there's any meaningful stakes to them whatsoever) but having this one set to all of Ru's tacky and over-performed numbers really was a slog. They didn't even include Sissy That Walk!

This episode was warm piss but I would happily stare at Manuel all evening
