I’m not much of a fan myself but I do really like Apples from her last album. So simple and yet so heartbreaking.

Do she break a habit of a lifetime and actually sing, or does she just speak along with the melody in her fake cockerney accent?

Sings a BIT, the mockney accent is present but watered down and the sad nature of the song means her fragile voice actually sounds half alright

I am with you though for the most part.
 
Love Lily. The last album was excellent. Higher and Pushing Up The Daises were highlights for me.
 
I'm glad she likes 'No Shame' and didn't disown it when it flopped. It's a great album.

The podcast is quite fun.

'Apples' is my UTTERLY MISERABLE fave but 'Come on Then' and 'Lost My Mind' are bops and 'My One' sort of has a similar vibe to 'Air Balloon' musically but with a bit more of the candour you'd expect from her.
 
She's QUIT music AGAIN (Until the next time)

I think she's in a great place for #LA5 though :disco:
