Albania 2025: Shkodra Elektronike - Zjerm (1 Viewer)

Pleased with this myself, I could do without the man’s verse but the chorus of Zjerm has been popping up in my head on and off since I first heard it. I feel it has both a higher ceiling and a lower floor than Karnaval results-wise
 
I like the man. Or at least I think his bit will help it pick up votes.
 
Also this is Albania, do we really want nor expect a BIG POP GIRL BOP from then? No I want terrifying psycho-drama.
 
I’m enjoying the fact that, despite claiming officially that it was 50/25/25 jury/internet/televote, the jury gave 406 points in total and the internet & televote 150 between them :D the winner would’ve been the same either way, but I love the power of Zjerm to defy conventional maths
 
This is seriously good - cinematic, both ominous and hopeful - they shouldn’t change a thing! The Real McCoy verse is well place as it will have been 30 years since Another Night come May 2025.

This could win the whole of Eurovision.

Karnival would actually have won by 6 points if they'd used the 50/50 style of voting they use in Melfest / most national finals. It was a bizarre way of calculating it while still technically being KIND OF 50/25/25.
 
No but I love this now. They just need to beef up the production a little and tidy it up around the edges. It’s striking, it’s unique, it’s ZJERM!
 
I'm not convinced how competitive it'll be, but I'm growing to properly love it.

Anyway! Obviously slightly baffling entry in the context of the alternatives, but one that I sense will in the full sweep of things be a delightful moment on the night (albeit of the 'and I NEVER LISTENED TO IT AGAIN AFTER MAY' kind)

There is a song hidden somewhere there, if they change the production.
Also, they should replace the first two letters of the song title with S P (if they know their audience).

I do find myself wanting to add "EET'S MY MISSION / TO FUCK VOICE OF REASON" to the end of the Zjerm rap verse whenever I'm listening.
