Is anyone else having POSTING ISSUES?

Weird, try logging out and back in to youtube, and if that doesn't work, clear cache and cookies and log back into Moopy. Chrome shares that between devices so if something is corrupted there it will follow you between devices.

Hmmm I never considered the google connection, because I am logged in permanently on Chrome. So it might be that yes. Thanks.

Have I had that thing that slows down your site experience put on my account as I am waiting ages for a post to er, post and pages are loading really slowly so haven’t been online much the past few days. :(

Nope.

I had issues earlier today and it was caused by my adblock. Chrome has recently changed some things in its backend aimed at adblocks that may be having issues if that is the browser you are using. I'll keep an eye on the Xenforo forums because if it is a wider issue it will crop up on that and they may have ideas of how to fix it.

Does Moopy actually still come up on the doldrums of some search engines somewhere? Why no new members other than aliases? 😞

We're ALIVE again.

The host server suffered a DDOS attack. We weren't the specific target, but because we're on a shared server with whoever was, we got knocked out too.

The attack is ongoing, and they had to change our IP address, which I then had to feed into our cloudflare, which is why we were down for so long. It also isn't impossible we will get knocked offline again, but hopefully our hosts are on it and can try and keep things from spilling out from our server neighbours.

I don't know who those neighbours are, but I am DYING to find out

Was moopy down for most of last night or was it just me

This happened again last night, and it’s happening again now. I’ve realised it’s only on Chrome - I’m posting this on my phone but moopy isn’t working on my laptop.

It’s a 403 Forbidden error message.

It’s not a major thing for me but in case it’s not isolated, it might be preventing sporadic users from getting in.

My current theory at the moment is that it is only happening to you, and it is because you are using a vpn/proxy on your laptop. This means that cloudflare is either identifying you as a threat, or it is messing with the bypass it is meant to apply to people who are logged on.

Sorry I dropped loads of messages and then fucked off out for dinner :D

So yeah that makes total sense - I hadn't thought about the VPN. I don't know why it's happening now because the VPN is tied to my Avast anti-virus and it's been active for over a year. But it's easy for me to turn it off so no biggie
