Mr. Lynch's musical choices are superior even to Scorsese's imo. 'Sinnerman', 'In Dreams', 'Song to the Siren', 'Crying' - these are legit amongst my favourite songs of all-time anyway, but to have them punctuate key scenes in his oeuvre lends a new dimension to my appreciation of them. And then there's Bowie, NIN, Lou Reed, and the god damn divine 'Loco-Motion' elsewhere, ofc. The sheer TASTE of it all!
Anyway, I fully adore the wholesome yearning which dominated pop in the late 50s/early 60s, and I enjoy both songs in the poll very much!
But we all know that 'I've Told Every Little Star' is the answer.
