Did someone go to the filming of the semis? Is it the same events or different? Someone mentioned Unleash ditching the one step rule in the semis

I read it on Reddit about the one step rule

(Also they are quite loony on Reddit - rather than just acknowledge Legends fabulous glutes like they act like they’re watching an actual sporting event)

He is absolutely incredible. What an eliminator this will be next week.

I'm guessing going on Joe's instagram stories that Zavia has had to pull out. Seems like Amanda should win relatively comforatably.

Edit: just googled - she has indeed :(
 
It was ridiculous they allowed Zavia to continue after the 2nd time Mark stopped to check on her, no doubt doing the eliminator exacerbated her injury.
 
Going in on iPlayer now. I much prefer this so I can whizz through Bradley and Barney and get the whole thing done and dusted in about 30 minutes.

Another great ep. Though I really think the rule that says a Collision 'goal' doesn't count if you've dropped the ball at some point is ABSOLUTE BOLLOCKS. She still fucking got it back and in the basket! It's actually more impressive! YOU'RE GETTING ON MY TITS MARK CLATTENBURG

DELIGHTED that the final is Mus V Joe. Gutted about Zavia having to withdraw. She was good and quite camp.

As much as I love Aneila, I fear that someone who neither outright qualified for the semis OR the final will have what it takes to beat Amanda. That said, it'll be nice to have Gladiators' first (?) openly LGBTQ+ winner :disco: even if she is really quite annoying
 
If Clattenburg had stopped Gauntlet 2 seconds sooner, as he should have when Sabre hadn’t released Aneila after she passed the line, and if Aneila hadn’t just stumbled on that rope in the Eliminator, I feel she could actually have walked it.
 
Caught up, Mus is great but Nathan really messed up the cargo net.

Amanda has it in the bag next week unless she really mucks up or gets injured
 
How many times will Amanda say she's happy having an amazonian goddess chase after her, wrestle her to the ground, thigh-lock her face, etc. What an icon.
 
Fell asleep (it's been a busy day), but starting now.

Really thought Zavier was going to be lip syncing to Strong Enough. Her outfit was slightly Cher circa '99.
 
The preview made Joe's hanging off the edge of Edge look really dramatic. Glad it wasn't even if that wasn't a great result for Joe.

Bit muted from both guys. Nus kind of drew the short straw getting Apollo I guess.
 
I don't like last second rule changes (as a viewer - I'm sure this was pre-arranged). I'd have preferred the contenders racing each other to the top as usual. And totally not worth it either. Hope they don't do that again next series.
 
Although I do wonder if Joe was employing some tactics there. You don't seem to want to be the Sphere getting the first impact.

For me it’s the dodgy editing. When Joe and Aneila went over the finish line, Mus and Amanda were still boxed in the opposite corner. No way they then made it half way round the course and past the second gladiator in less than ten seconds.

I much preferred The Wall in that new incarnation. No headstart that’s too long and no worry about shoes.
 
THAT WAS AN AMAZING FINALE. Probs my favourite episode yet. Pretty much every game was remarkable in some way.

I love the spheres race (way more than the standard spheres game, which bores me senseless) and I also enjoyed The Wall being a race as a fun one off. Well done to beautiful Legend.

Delighted for Joe, and I got past my annoyance of Amanda once reminded she too was doing it for a parent who's no longer here. I found her and Joe's wins v emotional for that reason (ditto the signs featuring pictures of their late mums 😭)

LOL at Aneila getting to give her inspiring defeat speech THREE TIMES across the series. I liked her, and how she did better than anticipated against the juggernaut Amanda in the run up to the Eliminator. Shout out to Mus too, who came across so well.
 
Has Bradley ALWAYS called Barney 'Barns', or did it only start really irritating me the last few weeks?
 
Watching Legends glutes get all the way to the top of the wall was a real treat.

Really chuffed for Joe. Just a really great guy I feel and he really powered through that final eliminator. Mus did great too to claw it back a little after Joe last his way slightly on the cargo net. Thought we were going to get a proper dead heat after that.

I wonder if they’re going to have to make the eliminator a bit harder next year as it didn’t really touch the sides for either of them?
