Alok & Kylie Minogue - Last Night I Dreamt I Fell In Love

Well this staying top 75 would be higher than I thought it was going to get. A miracle top 40 would be better

Apparently it only sold 71 copies yesterday! That seems wrong, even with low streaming, but if that is the case it won’t make the top 75.

As we have said, Charts company need to stop making 'headlines' from those 'midweeks'

Fake news

With sales of 1,467 copies on CD and 2,907 on vinyl, Last Night I Dreamt I Fell In Love debuts atop the physical sales chart with an overall tally of 4,374 units for Brazilian DJ Alok and Kylie Minogue. It is also No.1 on the individual CD, 7-inch vinyl and overall vinyl charts. The track didn’t fare so well digitally, attracting just 66 downloads and 575 sales-equivalent streams, with a grand total of 5,015 units meaning it falls short of the Top 75. Because the sales were front-loaded and digital data is hard to come by at the start of the sales week, the track actually topped the first of the week’s sales flashes, subsequently falling to No.7, No.28, No.39, No.56 and No.76

Meanwhile, inside the OCC HQ:

"Should we have a conversation about this?"

"Nah."

I am bloody surprised 2,907 are purchasing vinyl singals, i just assumed it was still all LP, god i'm so untrendy these days :(

It's just so ludicrous when anyone can look at the Spotify chart and streaming numbers on any given day and quickly realise that she had fuck all hope of charting anywhere near #7, if at all, particularly when daily sales of double digits were revealed. But let the OCC push this complete non story, even though they know it's utterly meaningless.

I may BOYCOTT. By that I mean not click on their Friday emails which are glitchy on their site anyway

You clearly don't go near SayHey.

It isn't part of any vinyl resurgence in Kylie's case. I don't imagine any of those gays are playing it. And there were 2 coloured vinyls, so the number of fans who bothered is probably much nearer half that.

For one thing, there seem to be about 100 for sale on eBay :D

have we covered this already but why didn't they put out the physicals with the streaming date?

I am guessing because the chart number doesn't matter, as in they aren't chasing that

I'm claiming this a HIT on ALL levels :disco:

It was #7 on the non mid's midweeks on Monday from Sunday physicals with a bit of sole streaming via vinyl's and CDs and Cwej's clipboard with data from Brits abroad in Benidorm, coupled with Brighton & Colchester sales/youtube streams and and DJ played it in Doncaster, its a HIT!!

Our Suedey, this is a Burning Up Bubbling under HIT! On the Hit Parade

So Excited Reaction GIF
