What an album.



I really liked her debut but this is bigger and broader. Massive voice, catchy as songs, and lyrically quite unlike anyone else... references to Becky Vardy, Heat Torso of the Week and Catherine of Aragon ('the way she sticks around, but she don't lose her head over nothin' ).

I do think reading the lyrics while listening to the recordings is sometimes helpful - sorry Jarv.

Saw her last Sunday, it was an acoustic show though but she was very good.

Just discovered her, I liked some of the stuff but need to give it a bit of time to sink in and stick, though some is pretty instant.

She’s touring soon here and tickets are like £20 so will probably go

I'm also hooked on I Can't Make Up My Mind at the moment... a fizzy constitution.

The album got to 25. She needs some wider exposure, I feel a Jools Holland spot would be very appropriate.
