I think I saw this mentioned in the Disney+ thread but I've started watching and I think it needs its own thread. Any current takers?

Hulu original but owned by Disney/Star in the UK, starring Michael Keaton and is based on the true story of a drug epidemic in America when a Big Pharma company decided to release an addictive painkiller and tell everyone it wasn't addictive... riveting stuff and really good performances all round, and it has a lot of Emmy buzz.

Plus American corruption stories always get a thumbs up from me

Nearly finished this and came here to say I would really recommend. I don’t normally watch shows like this with serious acting and plot points, but the fact that it’s based on truth is what drew me in. I love the jumping around in time as a plot device, and all of the storylines are equally compelling to me. I think I have a wee crush on Peter Sarsgaard :shy:
