Sally and Kevin, and surely Gail & Brian Tilsley? SURELY there are more than that. I know them and haven’t watched Corrie for over 10 years.Apparently when Lauren gives birth, it will only be the third time in the show's entire history that a 2nd surviving baby has been born to the same two parents (not counting twins). The others were Billy and Honey's kids and Kim and Vincent's.
It doesn't sound like a lot but apparently it's only happened twice on Corrie and it's been going for 65 years.
Those are the only two apparently! I can't be totally sure that there weren't any during the very early years but nobody seems to have been able to think of an example. Definitely nothing more recent than that, apart from a couple of twins and a set of quads.Sally and Kevin, and surely Gail & Brian Tilsley? SURELY there are more than that. Wouldn't Peter and Susan Barlow be an earlier example? Those are the only two apparently! It works out though. Even though Linda and Mick have four children, only one was born during the show. Kat and Alfie have twins of course but Michael is Tommy’s father.Kat and Alfie were together about 10 years initially (although a lot of that off screen).
Can't recall but I'm sure Bianca/ Ricky, Ian/ Jane and Linda/ Mick all had reasonably long runs.
I really do not like what they've done with Kathy these last few months.
Strong @Mary Whitehouse energy hereI guess my point should be more long term couples starting families. I know it's hardly good drama to have stable families, but for there to be so few examples of two individual births from the same two parents across both soaps over a period of over a century between them is astonishing.

It does seem rather odd, especially the throwaway line at the graveside where we were told she was too upset to be there and wasn't up to it.Not ANOTHER sudden Letitia Dean departure.
Maybe, but Ruby’s wild statements about loving Martin have never ever been true. I seriously don’t remember her even liking Martin, and she only ever seduced him in the first place to piss off Stacey. And the last year with Roman - how was that ever anything other than getting together for the sake of a child, because Martin just happened to be single at the time?Stacey can be very unlikeable, I was siding with Ruby more
