That's quite a random cinema outing, was it an anniversary release?
I haven’t actually seen it yet but it’s set for tomorrow morning! Not an anniversary, just showing randomly at The Garden Cinema as they do Family films on Sundays. I love it and missed it at the cinema first time around.

I liked it, but it was definitely the weakest of her films I feel.

Yes it was watchable, the people I was with and the audience didn't seem to impressed though. I was trying to explain it to them that action and constant drama is NOT HER STYLE :D it was shot very well, I liked it in a subtle kind of way but I think quite a few will be disappointed.

It looked amazing, and the first half was incredibly strong, but I felt she had no idea what to do with the ending and it all seemed very HINTED at, rather than shown, almost like Priscilla was too scared to stick to her own story :D

I thought Jacob Elordi was a brilliant Elvis though!

This has reminded me of one of my favourite Ellie reviews, for "Somewhere" :D

Most of it is set in L.A. and the dates from his text messages on his phone range from 22nd June 2009 to 28th June 2009. NO MENTION of Michael Jackson? He even drove past the Staples Centre at one point.

Can I please add it took me years to get round to Lost in Translation. When I did watch I was so dissapointed. As a Geri fan and from east London I am used to taking a little a long way but it was AWFUL. and I LOVE slow Mike Leigh films.

I quite enjoyed Priscilla because it was so well shot. Reminded me of House of Gucci
