Game Music (1 Viewer)

My current obsession from a recent game, as I posted elsewhere recently.

Also, I want to draw attention to my favourite gaming music moment, possibly ever, from the FF7 remake. The GAY GASP when it went from the lovely enough orchestral version to the proper TITS OUT BANGER BATTLE THEME we all know and love

4:03 of that is possibly the best moment of anything ever.

the synthesizers and the trumpets of this theme, totally didn't fit the game but it was POPPY BRILLIANCE. :disco: Probably factored into her being one of my characters of choice in Alpha 2. :D

It did fit Capcom's colourful era from the late 90s and early 00s, where everything they did was excellent and the aesthetic was vibrant and fun.

Late 90s Capcom is my video game happy place.

I used to play Street Fighter Alpha 2 all the time at the arcade, I think I got the Street Fighter Alpha Anthology Collection almost immediately when it first came out on PS2.

Also the epic showdown as you finally face Akira (until that cheap spammer Dural anyway) :disco:

Just saw that some kind soul has put the entire Chrono Cross 20th anniversary concert on YouTube, so that's my evening sorted :disco:

Been playing through Octopath Traveler 2, absolutely brilliant set of tracks to fit the different areas and moods of adventure :disco:
