Janet Jackson general (2021/2)

he was hugely creatively prolific from 76-84
Not as a solo artist, but yes he was creating music with his family. This one though...she's annoying me now. We've all been here before and I'm conscious that we all have different levels of appreciation for her, for her legacy, her influence etc. etc. but she's doing herself no favours with this talk of "new-music". As you've said - just say what it actually is - it's a money-making tour of the market where she sold the most and can expect the most reasonable returns on ticket sales.

I guess I'm not surprised by the US centric tours. Japan aside, she's much more popular here than anywhere else.

I presume some of you know about this podcast with every UK #1 album from the 90s is being reviewed:

The Janet album episode is very entertaining.
