Fourth album from alt-country (with increasing emphasis on the alt) singer-songwriter. Sharon Van Etten features on Radio which is about as poppy as she has been.
Two more epic tracks dominate the album: Lydia, a dark stream of consciousness character piece, and County Road, a stunning piano-led story ballad that builds in a kind of Springsteen gone country direction. I'm properly obsessed with it at the moment. Live performance:
