@funky the gag of this thread for me is that all of the music you like stays within a very safe perimeter doesn’t it…no wonder you find Eurovision and general pop music so bewildering![]()
Ignore the second disc. It's all acoustic.I don't know who she is but those fucking track lengths? girl. at least Ava fed us like 3 songs over 3 minutes.
Assuming you mean Kendrick Lamar, I kind of feel that way about him too. I loved his first two albums, and some other songs since, but he's lost me a bit. He’s like Lamar for me - I appreciate from afar but generally he’s a bit too abstract for me to sit and listen to. I like a certain vibe from hip hop, not necessarily the artistes that I know are super talented. He’s definitely one of the best right now and I like to listen to his stuff.
The Sarah Klang one isI was probably going to enter it for a future ASFM
Her last album was very good and was heading towards the eighties synth direction in parts but this feels bigger.
These have a new album coming right? I'm liking this. It's giving me Cannons vibes. I like how it crosses between synthwave and alternative.
The new dancey Nothing But Thieves single sounds like they've turned into Nero - nice change of direction
