A Sorta Fairytale straight away feels really 'HOT' to me. Hot sticky and humid. It really sets a scene.

"A Sorta Fairytale" was a big hit on US radio. I think "Spark" is still her highest charting single on the BB Hot 100 but I wouldn't be surprised if "A Sorta Fairytale" was the bigger radio hit..

I remember the loons not being very happy with it though at the time. I used to post on @Forumz (later Unforumzed, later defunct) and most of them didn't like how 'commercial' it was and apparently thought she copied Jewel.

Yeah it's fun and jaunty and 'silly Tori' but it does feeling jarring. I do like it though.

'Strange' took a while to click with me, but it's a firm favourite now. So lush. I love the big piano. The first time on the album we've heard it really.

Strange is LUSH. The lyrics are quite simple for her but it works. I quite like the countrified single edit, too

Now I have always loved 'Strange'. Again, the loons were all going about how cheesy it was but I love myself a straightforward Tori heartbreak song. The string arrangement is gorgeous.

Who else has heard that ridiculous country radio remix?
