This song is from last year but it's still doing the round on Spotify playlists. The jazz harmonies are very neo-soul but it still feels very now.

This is really good. It's giving a bit of The Boy is Mine. Where have I heard her name before?

This is definitely Ledisi's best song in years. Looking forward to her album now.

On a quick listen this sounds great! "Oh, Wait" is the one, and it's always lovely to get a Lalah Hathaway appearance

Lots of good new stuff recently

I'm assuming we're getting a new JONES album because there's been a few new tracks recently, and they're always special. Here's the latest

New one from Rimon, aka the less successful Tyla.

New Marsha. Well overdue a new album

Essosa dropped a new single yesterday and I'm pretty sure it samples Promiscuous Girl

Can't thank @Funky enough for introducing me to her.

The Goddess is BACK and it's GREAT

The wonderful Brownstone are back. I don't like it.

I mean I've resigned myself to the fact that we're never getting another Erykah Badu album, but it's nice when she pops up now and again. She seems quite engaged on this one

More understated dreamy R&B from Akemi Fox - I think she's so much better than SZA but what do I know

Ravyn Lenae album out TODAY! the first two singles didn't catch me but I've been enjoying these

hope I love the album because Hypnos was truly a classic

I was so happy to see the notification that she had just quietly dropped another album!

I think we made a thread for her?

yes please. in the meantime - Candy is excellent :disco: she's really great at these lilting summer grooves that sound like they could blow away in a slight breeze.

Candy, Love Me Not, One Wish, Days are all basically 10/10. I don't think there's a single track in there I don't love. It's much sweeter and flirtier than Hypnos.

Not actually familiar with this lady, but the album is really interesting - lots of neo-soul and psychadelic influences but it's more of a modern R&B album than anything specific.

Best tracks for me are Is It Worth It, Crybaby and Overcast/Overture

This actually stood out as really good after one listen and will be diving in again. She's never really broken through as one of the neo-soul greats for me but has done a few good tracks along the years. She's stuck to her roots on this album and it works

I had a listen to it and I’ve popped it in playlist… it didn’t grab me yet but it still might!
