Why would you record the theme song to the biggest film of ALL TIME and do precisely nothing with it!
This was so frustrating! The label just never seemed interested at all, they did a pretty cheap video and didn't promote it. Wasn't there also something about it being ineligible to chart because it wasn't released separately, or wasn't originally on the movie's soundtrack album or SOMETHING - completely baffling

Not quite his last post, but one of them

You called me a Nazi, Suomi. I'm continually berated for my politics on Moopy for sitting somewhere to the right of left wing anarchist. You, specifically, have repeatedly implied that my politics are a result of lesser intelligence. So, yes, FUCK YOU.

If you want to live in an echo chamber, feel free. I find it impossible to have a discussion with you because you are so absolute in your conviction that you are right. Getting stuck in a wikipedia loop doesn't make you an expert anymore than anyone else.

I miss Robotboy and him telling us on a weekly basis that he has a really important job in the music industry repping singers most of us have never heard of

Is that why it was so uninspiring

First they came for the people who sat somewhere to the right of left wing anarchist, and I did not speak out.

Then they came for Leona Lewis' new record deal :(

Was/is he not CABIN CREW?

he was promoted from cabin crew to person who stands at the side of the stage when X Factor rejects are singing at a local friday night rave in the rough end of Essex.

Did you not do a similar job in A&R or did I just completely make that up? Or did you both work in the same industry?

He used to work in the music industry and I think was a radio promoter before he quit and became BA cabin crew no?

not unless you count those 2 weeks I worked at London records twenty years ago and delivered Holly Valance's mail.

No I work in TV and film hun. I say work, I'm on a HIATUS

Also he had a record label and was partly responsible for the second Same Difference album?

He has involved with the big Robyn push in the UK, wasn't he?

HARSH. I hope you’re not suggesting Tilbury

Just like how @Suomi was responsible for the big push of statements in the U.K.

I remember amazing stories about him doing A&R work for POP!, Robyn, Rebecca Hayes, Loose Chippins' and sundry other iconic pop acts.

Let's face it, we'd all kill for that job. :D

I'm pretty sure he claimed it was the record he was most ashamed of having worked on :D

Don’t forget mad Gina G being his evil and ‘orrible landlord

@funky to define the rough end of Essex please.

Fuck knows. I was just gonna say Essex cos I was thinking about those scenes in The Office where David Brent has to throw t-shirts to rabid youths in a dodgy east end nightclub. But then I remembered I've only been to Essex once and it was proper posh.

Wasn’t RB also involved in convincing radio stations to playlist Revolver? I remember an entertaining story about their all being appalled by the very notion
