UK: The Alexander Boris de Pfeffel Johnson years - problematic + infected + broke the law + electoral poison + sneks + not very good + OVER (funny)

She’s “right” that if you’re already working in the same room as someone, and likely eating meals while you’re there all the time, adding a cake doesn’t increase the Covid risk. But it still shows a lack of compassion and the ability to see why the actions were wrong and set a bad example

It also ignores the laws that were in place at the time, drafted and confirmed in the very room the cake was served in.

I work in the civil service and congregating for any reason was explicitly against the rules. We couldn't even have more than two people in the canteen at once.

Well that’s what I mean, there’s more to it than the actual Covid risk

The last 2 pages of this thread has had me chuckling this afternoon :D

Move over Private Eye!

Meanwhile here's how the Germans are reporting it :eyes:

“On a day of timetable twists and turns, the final decision on publication is in hands of PM?”

Might he block it?

I'd have thought he would realise that attempting to block it would only result in it getting leaked faster than a Downing Street employee shotguns a bottle of red.

I thought I read earlier that No 10 aren’t involved in the decision on when to release it?

Either way, the contents are so bad our Sue felt the need to involve the police so if she releases it he’s fucked, if he suppressed it it’s essentially an admission of how bad it is and he’s still fucked :disco:

"This investigation has been commissioned to look into allegations that Downing Street staff (referred to herein as "frontline heroes") took time off from their incredibly hard work building back better, levelling up the north, and deploying a world-beating vaccine rollout to 'attend parties'.

One whistle-blower alleged that a party was held to celebrate The Home Office successfully securing our borders against the plague of economic migrants that constantly burden our NHS and welfare system. We have not been able to ascertain the veracity of this claim."

I hope Sue Gray is working from home whilst she does this just to make them extra mad.

‘Sorry Prime Minister, just let me turn down CORRIE’

On this occasion I hope not see a Tory PM fucking a dead pigs head.

That said if Boris is the dead pig it might be OK.
