Lana Del Rey - Did you know that there's a tunnel under Ocean Blvd (24 March 2023) (1 Viewer)

two sleeps until I discover that @POP! lied and Let the Light In sounds nothing like Dance Till We Die 😭

I imagine on Friday she'll be the most streamed female artist on Spotify

You will love it. I can’t stop dancing and feeling my oats to it. :disco:

When I was fifteen, naked
Next door neighbors did a drive-by
Pulled me up by my waist long hair to the beachside
I wanted to go out like you
Swim with the fishes that he caught on Rhode Island beaches

But sometimes it's just not your time

Can’t wait for Moopy to experience one of the best albums of all time.

We are getting a music video for "Candy Necklace" - directed by Rich Lee ("Love", "Lust for Life", "White Mustang", "Fuck It I Love You/The Greatest", "Doin' Time")

Let the Light In is alright. I'm not LOVING this stream of consciousness affair so far :D where are the songs

Judah Smith is enough to put me right off her. I hate her now!

I’m listening to an album of hers, this one, from start to finish for the first time now. I thought it might get the long last couple of hours of work in a little quicker…..I may have been wrong.

The second half is more immediate than the first imo. I think I like it? I’ve already built the narrative that it’s her best album since NFR, so I need it to live up to that

Paris, Texas
Let the Light In
Margaret
Taco Truck

These were the most immediate other than the singles

It's a DIFFICULT album isn't it?

The mastering is AWFUL!

It’s TOO QUIET. I had the volume turned up to the MAX listening to it on the way to work this morning and could still barely hear her mumble.

I haven’t listened to this album on Spotify yet but I’ve noticed her songs are always quieter on there than other current pop music.
