Dua Lipa — Radical Optimism

I'm still streaming Radical BOPtimism these days, some tracks still have staying power and I will always stan Dua don't get me wrong :disco: It was a Short & Sweet album campaign and that's that.

It could be a smart move. She knows that the focus has shifted and she's not the hottest pop star in the land. Step back, let it happen - maybe even have something new for the Wembley shows next year. She could harm her career more by looking desperate. By being content, she gives herself a better chance in the long run.

She'll bounce back effortlessly, perhaps a collab or a cute one-off single but there will always be goodwill towards her. At this point I'd rather she doesn't release anything else from RO and I hope they don't consider a rerelease either. I've never perceived her as desperate.

This may have been discussed, but I have just had a quick look - why are her tour dates SO RANDOM. Cue Bad Popstar answers :D

nobody really knows. I'm guessing she decided not to tour this album and just make some decent money with a handful of stadium and outdoor dates. Future Nostalgia had SO many dates and maybe she doesn't want to commit to that again.

Well it looks like she's getting ASIA in good and proper, so I understand that, but its then like TWO dates in USA and random ones.

Yeah, this looks pretty tremendous.

Also getting major bond vibes from Training Season like this.

Dua remembered she released an album earlier this year and blesses us with a new Tiny Desk concert :disco:

These Walls still bangs, what a missed opportunity.

Tiny Desk was great. thought she was a bit strained vocally on These Walls especially but she eased into it and damn that performance of Houdini was exceptional. LOVE HER SO MUCH!!!

These Walls finally gets the single treatment [FRANCE ONLY]

her one-off Royal Albert Hall show was last night with full orchestra. hair is back to black, whole album was performed, Training Season sounding majestic and Bond Theme-esque :disco:
Dua Lipa has laid out plans for her first live album.

'Dua Lipa Live From Royal Albert Hall', as the title suggests, was recorded at the iconic London venue, capturing her one-night-only performance there on October 17, where she was backed by a 53-piece orchestra conducted by Ben Foster, a 14-strong choir, and a seven-piece band.

The release features a reimagined version of her latest album, 'Radical Optimism', performed in its entirety, along with other hits. It'll arrive on December 6, with a special An Evening With Dua Lipa concert special to air via ITV on December 8.
