Her new album with Benny blanco. First single out now

that single is awful, hasn't she learned anything from Chappell or Sabrina we want recession pop SELENER.

Every now and then I revisit Naturally, A Year Without Rain, Hands To Myself, Good For you, Slow Down and wonder if she really hates stuff people actually enjoy.

She really does seem to have an aversion to making music that people actually enjoy

I mean I get being yourself artistically but who heard this drab shit and said LEAD SINGLE

Let's get one thing straight, Lindsay, Hilary, Demi and other former Disney girls sure know their way around a decent bop, I mean even Zendaya had Replay. They wouldn't touch this shit with a barge pole!

Why would you release music like this when you're incapable of emoting? I blame Hollywood for lying to her and pretending she can act.

Thank Goodness for Bonnie McKee who is treating us in this day and age to what Selena refuses to.

I liked the last album but rarely go back to it. “Vulnerable” was one of her best moments!

the last album had plenty of keepers. but it's kinda mad that her music career rumbles on when she's so (vocally!) over it.

She’s absolutely terrible - a cultural tranquilliser. To think this is the same person who released ‘Naturally’ and ‘Love You Like A Love Song’

The track length :manson:

Rare, Sweeter Place, Ring, Boyfriend and Souvenir are the ones I enjoy when they tend to pop up on my shuffle. They're pretty good for her monotone style of singing voice she eventually adopted (annoyingly) by the end of her career.
Watch her never coming back in full form now with all the attention her "acting is getting

finally listened to this and completely baffled. The song length, lack of tune, utter joylessness of it. It’s rightfully bombing

it's terrible and I'm a hardcore Selena truther. but as always insiders promise "some songs like Fetish on the album!!1".

It’s not bad but still why two minutes and why did those lyrics require NINE writers? And the video? Come on give us nothing :D

It’s apparently the proper lead single and being pushed at radio.

Gracie Abrams must be the worst thing to come out of pop music in a long time.

and who the hell calls herself GRACIE except 6-year-olds.

Selena has been grinding my gears for the last 3 years, but let's remember and look back at a beautiful time when our Whisper Chanteuse used to bless us with bops.

1. Hands To Myself
2. Naturally
3. A Year Without Rain (except the awful middle 8)
4. Bad Liar
5. It ain't me (With Kygo)
6. Good for You (With ASAP Rocky)
7. I Want You To Know (with Zedd)
8. My Dilemma
9. We Don't Talk Anymore (With Charlie Puth)
10. Love You Like A Love Song

she was kinda shit tbh

1. Off the Chain
2. A Year Without Rain
3. Middle of Nowhere
4. Vulnerable
5. Hands to Myself
6. Love You Like a Love Song
7. Round and Round
8. My Dilemma
9. Calm Down
10. A Sweeter Place

Not bad debut, presumably due to Gracie and #1 placement on New Music Friday here:

Global: #28 (NEW), 3,093,596
United States: #16 (NEW), 1,094,307
United Kingdom: #37 (NEW), 193,994

#64(-48) US - 570,454(-523,853)
#120(-83) United Kingdom

the video is absurd and I love it. sister is feeling the fantasy. I've not seen her looking so (relatively) alive and popstar-ish in YEARS

album out TODAY. I cherry picked and it's a mixed bag but Ojos Tristes is excellent and Don't Wanna Cry is good too

Bluest Flame co-written by Charli and you can certainly tell. she doesn't really sell that one

The concept of this album is: "what if you were down at the Men in Music Business Conference and Charli xcx turned up but they only paid her for one song."

I haven't trawled through the album but I am loving Don't Wanna Cry, blank vocals and all.

The eurodisco LIFT OFF of the last forty seconds :disco:

“Ojos Tristes” is that sultry gem isn’t it. It’s giving Bedtime Stories.

It is Charli cosplay but I thought this one was fun. An appreciated uptempo moment on a largely sleepy album.

Unsurprisingly the album isn’t doing much business but it actually gained streams on day 2 in the US

those numbers are awful! it must be doing less than 10m globally per day? sheeeesh.
