What Are You Watching? 2025 (1 Viewer)

The Morning Show.

Episode 2. I hope Miles isn't in it too often.

Edit: omg I love this show.

Edit edit: the opening credits are very Web Therapy (2011-15).

I have just started White Lotus from the first season. Well, I am intrigued but its not quite the CRIME MURDER DRAMA i was expecting, but I like it. On ep 3 this evening

Toxic Town.

Has anyone else watched this? Jodie Whittaker is fantastic in it, and it is the best drama I have watched in a while.

I wonder how BBC/ITV didn’t get their hands on it or would it be made for Netflix? @lolly ?

According to Wikipedia Netflix commissioned it, rather than it being shopped around and them buying it over their competitors.

@FetchFugly have you watched? What did you think?

It is on the list, but I am really behind with my telly.

Agree it is an interesting commission for Netflix. You could say that they wanted their own Mr Bates but it must have been ordered well before that aired.

There's another Jack Thorne/Stephen Graham drama coming on Netflix this week, Adolescence, about a teenager accused of murder. The episodes are one shot and it looks very good.

The Thing About Pam

6 part series based on the bonkers true crime case of Pam Hupp.

I thought the comic tone this struck at times was a bit DISRESPECTFUL to the victims & it's a crazy & compelling enough story not to need it. Worth watching though for anyone who doesn't know the twists & turns of the case & also for a tour-de-force performance from an almost UNRECOGNISABLE Renèe Zellweger.

Currently S2 of White Lotus, I don't really binge anything but bloody loved the first series. It built and built. Onto S2 which is not grabbing me as much but still enjoying, especially for the insanely hot Theo James. Looking more forward to S3 in Thailand!

S2 wasn't quite as good as S1 IMHO but there were certain characters that I did love (to hate).

S3 has just started to ramp up after laying down some good slow burning roots......

Has anyone watched Towards Zero, the new BBC Agatha Christie? I really liked episode one but am nearing the end of episode two and think it's a load of old TUT

And the animated death mask of Anjelica Huston is NOT giving a great performance. Great gowns though, beautiful gowns

I started watching Loudermilk on Netflix this week with Ron Livingston. It only has 3 seasons as it never got picked up by another network after AT&T went under in 2020. Anyway, definitely a very easy watch. Very well written and often LOL funny.

Real Housewives of MelB season 4. Gina's final season - can't believe she doesn't have another TV show (although a near miss with the Judge Gina I guess).

Tenerife With Jane McDonald. Totally unsure if this is a re-ritled episode from her series The Canary Islands With Jane McDonald. Very worried for Jane McDonald if Jane McDonald nodding off fatigue makes covid seem like a tickly cough. She's just said she "loves a strong bottom" so the nation is still on side. For now. On Channel 5.

God I just love a Jane "on the fly" heartfelt moment. You can tell she's off book as she's never able to sound sincere :disco:

"Ooooh you get clean balls as well, that's nice" should keep the public on side for now. And with Vanessa Feltz launching a rival show to Loose Women, Channel 5 really are giving us their strongest 1-2 punch since Sunset Beach (1997-1999) and Exclusive (1997-1998?) Gosh, where did it all go wrong for C5? Family Affairs (1997-2005) and Fort Boyard (1998-2001) a convincing 3-4 bitch-slap of content.

I will be watching LIVE and frankly can't wait. However, I kind of dislike Feltz after I felt(z) she was a rotten wench to some poor Joe Blog off the street chosen to have a meal with her on Celebs Go Dating (2016-present).

Finished Apple Cider Vinegar. It felt like there was one episode too many in the middle, but Kaitlyn Dever was excellent and I do like Ashley Zukerman.

Started both This City Is Ours and Gangs of London series 3... a double crime gang whammy, though the latter is definitely rather more showy and heightened.

Is it going directly against Loose Women?

Yes! However, if it wasn't bad enough being rescheduled due to the Cheltenham Festival last week, now Feltz has really stuck the knife in. I wonder if she'll be allowed back on This Morning (1988-present).

Loose Women spat out and packed back up Steph's packed Lunch, I thought that show would have stood the test of time for a bit longer, lets see how this does. on C5 too

Has anyone seen Cassandra on Netflix? Why didn’t they just push her over? :D

Making out she’s the Terminator when she looked BOTTOM HEAVY.

I did enjoy her gas lighting the family with campy backhanders though

“Your mum might love you again when she’s not ill”

Oh God Juno was so annoying and STUPID and bitch you can’t sing!
