Ecuador is the only one I really regret not visiting when I went to SA in 2015.
I went to Paraguay for the grand total of two hours, in which I went to McDonald's. It was a fraught couple of hours because it was at the mid-point of the trip, the part when me and my travelling companion were engaged in open psychological warfare.
And it's such a massive country that I may as well say Brazil again too. We tried to cover basically an entire continent in about three months, so I've not been anywhere north of Rio.
Not from what I sawBrazil (the highest % of tops)

I also went to Paraguay for about two/three hours. Cuidad del Este by any chance?
I didn't go to McDonalds, but I did have a beer.
If you didn't leave the local bath house, what do you expect? Not from what I saw![]()
I'm another member of the three-hour Ciudad del Este club. What a dump but we all only went for one reason.I also went to Paraguay for about two/three hours. Cuidad del Este by any chance?

Actually you should... we didn't on the way out of Brazil (as we'd heard we didn't need to) and then they caused lots of fuss at the border when we tried to get back in. After making us wait for half an hour with lots of stern faces and clucking they eventually let us go.You don't even get a stamp in your passport to show for it. What a swizz.

I might be going next yearYes, having only explored Costa Verde, I feel like another trip to Brazil is absolutely necessary!
