Purely speculation from me, but if there's truth to the rumours that they've submitted something political/pro-regime, could it be under discussion with the EBU as to it's eligibility, similar to the Belarus 2022 situation? And potentially it's hush hush (boom boom chiki chiki) on all fronts to not stoke any fires? I can imagine this ending in a quiet withdrawal/banning.

There isn't and it won't. They're just being sloppy.

Also the HoD meeting isn't until next week so I'd imagine that's the firm deadline to have everything delivered anyway.
