Cowes, the town where our shop is. I never liked it before opening the shop there, now it's easily my favourite town on the island.

Annoyingly it's also one of the most expensive

Mr F has a flu-like illness so I've been avoiding him (as much as you can avoid somebody you're preparing meals in bed for). I've had some symptoms this morning, nothing drastic, that mirror how his illness started. I'm still going round to my mum's in ten minutes for an Easter get-together and if anybody gets ill I'm going to blame it on grandspawn. I've not seen her for over a month because on the five times I arranged to visit in March there was always something that stopped it happening. I'm a devious, selfish cow and I don't care.

In my defence I'm not really that petty but they also sent something else past its use-by date so I thought I might as well put in a request for both of them but only the PARNSIP REFUND went through

Decided to split the drive up to my parents’ place across 2 days (3h tomorrow afternoon and 2h on Monday morning) … and booked myself into a 4* spa hotel.
