Name something that is TOO BLOODY WOKE

He’s so desperate to find an angle on this to be mad at Sadiq Khan that’s going with being anti the SUFFRAGETTES in the year 2024? :D

How else you going from the club in Hackney to a ketty after party in Peckham honey?

Actually unhinged! What principle?!

i looked at his timeline, hes one of those weird brand of racists who have a deep love of dragging up obscure history to make arguments about foreigners. They come across as quite erudite while also giving off massive lonely adult baby vibes.

I would support changing all of the Tube line names to something that will infuriate racists. The only real question is whether the Victoria Line should now be known as the Markle Line or the George Floyd Line.

I've just recently taken up coffee drinking and I mentioned my particular fondness for an oat milk latte to a friend who couldn't say quickly enough that it was "JUST LIKE ME TO LIKE THOSE WEIRDO LEFTY MILKS".

Er....

I recently bought some whole milk as it was all they had. It was bloody delicious so I’m sticking with it. Does this mean I’m a Tory?

I can't do whole milk any more. It feels like a mouthful of fat.

And to think when I was young I used to crave gold top.

I don't really do REAL milk. The very thought makes me feel queasy.

Turn it into CHEESE, BUTTER or just about anything else and COUNT ME IN, but sloshy cows milk- BLEURGH. The amount of times I've argued when buying a coffee chain milkshake or something and asked for plant based milk and asked for the cream on top to VERY CONFUSED LOOKS :D

Oooh you can’t beat oat milk! Soya is decent too but almond is absolutely rank :zombie:

Depends what you want - I find oat milk a bit thick and it makes cereal gloopy so I would always have almond milk with my bran flakes.

Every time you think it couldn't get more cartoonish, non-dairy milks are now LEFTY WOKERY. It would be funny if it weren't driven by financial interests in factory farming.

I mean in all honesty I think they taste nice. I am vegetarian so I do try to avoid most animal products but I don’t scream in horror at cow milk. I just prefer the plant stuff and I’m used to it now.

But almond milk is too thin for me and just tastes a bit off.

It's all very hypocritical. Those bemoaning lefty wokery are usually the first to scream FREE MARKET CAPITALISM RULES ONLY THE STRONGEST SURVIVE

Yet they still bleat on about loss-making unprofitable dairy farming

I get the same if I get a caramel macchiato in Starbucks. I ask for oat milk, then always get told that the syrup isn't vegan. It's good that they are doing their job for people who are vegan, but it often feels like the idea that I'm not vegan but just actually prefer oat milk doesn't compute when I inevitably have to repeat myself.

This is (sort of) one of the reasons I stopped meat dodging. Restaurants have gone full vegan on the meat free options, no middle ground. If I'm giving up meat I at least want some fucking CHEESE.

THIS. Laziness of the highest order. It was so fucking irritating when I was veggie.

Do people know the Lounge chain of cafe/bars? They started here in the early 00s and I believe are all called a word ending with 'o' and sounding vaguely Italian - Lounge, and have a couple of hundred across the country now. Certainly locally even fairly small towns have them. We've got 5 or 6 now, I think.

They really do have fantastic veggie and vegan menus (alongside meat) - by far the most extensive of any non exclusively veggie/vegan place I've visited, and bigger than some of those.

Definitely my go to place for a group of people meeting up and you're not sure of dietary requirements, or if some people only want a drink or a coffee.

We have the Brasco Lounge in Liverpool which sounds like it might be part of that - their vegan menus are great.

They remind me of a slightly more trendy Giraffe

Oh and Nordico Lounge in Ormskirk which I think is the same company

Their veggie breakfasts are amazing

Lots or mismatched wooden furniture and slightly creepy old photos and paintings on the walls? Sound likely.

Yes :D

This is me in Nordico for my birthday. Fits your description!

I know there's one in Wembley but I don't know if there are many others within London at all.

There's one in my hometown which has become a go-to whenever I'm up visiting family, and it always seems packed even when the town itself is empty.

I used to eat at one all the time when going to London via Wilmslow, for a chain they are quite good.

And thinking about it, I haven't seen one in ages now I'm a CITY DWELLER. They must just hover in the suburbs.
