I’ve wanted to go to the Isle of Man for ages but the Isle of Wight has put me off.
 
OMG! I just looked at DOWN SOUTH on a weather app and you guys are getting temperatures of 17 degrees!? JEALOUS.

I'm about as (centrally) DOWN SOUTH as you can get and it's 12 degrees.

NOT THAT IT MATTERS WHILST I'M STUCK INDOORS
 
I'm glad we're on 4 day weeks but as the hours are compressed into 9 1/4 per day, urgh.. they drag more than RuPaul in a chain smoking contest.

Tempted to knock off early
 
It's coach party day in Cowes today, lots of cute elderly people wandering around looking confused. I can't wait until I start doing coach party holidays.
 
Also it's current sunny here. I am too excited. Except I'm working.

That's what we've queried. For some reason all the other flats have their own meter but ours is read off the main meter for the building. I think we're going to install one tho.

Yeah, 100% get a meter. Saved us a bomb. For a long period, neither of us showered at home and I'm REALLY good at reusing water (we water our plants with pasta water, for example...) and we were getting stung. We couldn't get a meter but when we finally were allowed, the difference was ridiculous.

I'm pretty sure the window cleaner and gardener are using the outside tab which Mandy and I are getting charged for. Think we will arrange a meter asap. I do t even have a fish tank using water now.
 
I've been varnishing some bits in the shop and I hadn't realised how strong it would smell, now the whole shop stinks, my eyes are streaming and I feel sick :(

I might die of varnish fumes.
 
I think mine is by usage you know, although I’ve not long been in this flat so maybe I need to get on top of that and make alternative arrangements. I’m playing the “wait and see” game and need to learn that it always bites me on the ass.

By usage is great. I’m a responsible user and there’s two of us- why the fuck should I pay the same as someone using a hosepipe every day who has six kids?
 
Anyone else getting spammed by non stop pangolin ads on X? At least the Pussy in Bio ladies have stopped.
 
So people who don't pay for water by usage, how do they pay 🤔
