We get NOWT off but we did get a day on our holidays (took mine on Monday) and we also got paid today instead of tomorrow.

Which is nice.

Center Parcs DISASTER as it’s super windy and howling with rain and last night’s thunderstorm has somehow fucked up the pools so no one has ANYTHING to do.

I mean, I’m fine just reading but there’s loads of families looking like zombies as kids scream their heads off :D

Can anyone identify this BIRD I saw outside of the flat this morning? It appears to be some sort of CRANE or HERON?

I'd forgotten about a job I'd applied for in deep rural Donegal and they've come back today wanting an interview.

I would like to move and am conscious that the jobs I care about won't be common there. But I am a little concerned that I might still be a little early yet and I might be best waiting till after summer.

I’m actually LOVING being out in the sticks (Zone 3/4) It’s a very leafy and quiet area, so feels very different to HOMERTON HIGH STREET. It’s like the ANIMALS OF FARTHING WOOD in the back garden.
It sounds so much more lovely. Much rather herrons and hedgehogs than handsome Turkish barbers.

Our Lucille is settling down to a life dedicated to wildlife.

I love/ sometimes hate all the nature in my back garden. It's ridiculously established so maintenance is tricky, but we've have cats, squirrels, foxes and even a frog.

I'm rubbish at birds. I know pigeons, fat pigeons, robins, crows, blackbirds, blue tits... and then I stop.

I don't care that much about birds, but we have had some interesting garden birds recently.

Alongside the obvious, we also get coal tits, greenfinches, bullfinches, long tailed tits and the occasional visit from a sparrowhawk. I love the bullfinches, the colourful bastards.

We get lots of tits of all kinds (not mine though) in the back garden, robins, blackbirds, a lone jay, sparrows and we often see hawks on the park hovering. We also have squirrels, I've identified six different ones but they don't all come around together. Black nose, a small female, is very nervous and won't come over if you make eye contact but the others are happy to come right up when I've got my phone out filming them.

Never had anywhere near as much wildlife visiting when we had the dog.

I really wanted to get smashed this weekend, but health prohibits.

Shit holiday anyway. Whatever.
