What an oddly grand and not-really-needed way to go about things. Did they have a pyrotechnic trapeze stage and kit for 40 drummers left over from one of the Olympic ceremonies?

I can't imagine England rugby fans reacting especially well to Pixie Lott being swung in to premiere a UK Eurovision ballad in the half time of a game here. Perhaps the French rugby fans are different though

On first listen, the song is nothing.
 
Where are my synths? :(

It is quite nice, though live the repeated maman bit grates a tad.
 
Having given the studio version a couple of plays and knowing what to expect, I think it's beautiful and builds really nicely.

Still a potential jury winner at the very least, but I'll wait and see what the Honest Vocal Coach has to say first. She was gushing about Austria the other day.
 
Is it about the lovely little desserts?
