Last week a friend said that Sabrina Carpenter apparently had some inappropriate and explicit lyrics, when I mentioned passing by The O2 and her fans being mostly teenage girls.

I had to bring up the fact that we were listening to Erotica when we were 10/11, and showed him the lyrics to Where Life Begins.

Had it in my head ever since :disco:

Somewhere in between. Probably the weakest link/least essential on Erotica for me behind Did You Do It (by some distance). But admittedly it has stiff competition on that album.

Right? I raided my sister’s singles collection as a young one and my mum told me off for recording myself onto a cassette singing the “like a tramp in the night…” part of Sam Fox’s Touch Me oblivious to what I was singing or doing.

one of the ultimate bops of her entire CAREER! a great great song. strongest album track on Erotica I'd say.

are you still hungry?
aren't you glad you came?

*sensual horns pop off*

even by the standards of its parent album, extremely SULTRY

DON'T BE RIDICULOUS

I mean, it's GREAT but it's not WAITING.

(Or Secret Garden for that matter. Or Thief of Hearts...)

I'm in my office and I might just pop my ORIGINAL 1992 EROTICA VINYL (that admittedly I found in 2025 in a Danish record shop) on for an AFTERNOON SPIN.

I remember when Smash Hits referred to it as a 'lesbian orientated song called Eating Out' on her then-upcoming as yet untitled album...

Bad Girl is the best song on the album.

I find Secret Garden a bit boring.

I would rank it way above Waiting, just above Thief and Secret Garden, and on par with In This Life which is my other fave and one of her best ballads ever ever.

CHRIST ON A BIKE

I also find In This Life a bit PLODDING, but I realise that's perhaps just ME.

In This Life is drab to me even though I can appreciate what she was going for

Secret Garden is one of my all time fave Madonna songs :D
