They're internally selecting again. The initial buzz was that Guy Sebastian was coming back to mark ten years since Tonight Again. However, eurovisionfun (who are admittedly extremely unreliable so pinch of salt) are now reporting that they're sending a singer called Go-Jo.

He has quite high streams, including 55m for this. Not my cup of tea, but.seems like a decent booking name-wise if true.

Interested in thoughts from our Aussie contingent. Is he particularly well known?

I’ve never heard of him, but I’m not there much these days. That’s decent streaming numbers though so might be good.

If they were going to keep on sending Australia Decides entrants then it’s surely if the turn of JAGUAR JONZE

If that Go-Jo rumour turns out to be true, I wouldn't be opposed to something like Mrs Hollywood.

So Go-Jo has had a song called "Supersonic" that was originally meant to be released on January 17th but has been pushed back without explanation, that would fit with it being chosen. There's a short snippet at

So if it is Go-Jo, he's just released a 3 minute song called Milkshake Man. You can hear 90 seconds of it here:

Much more on board with this than whatever George Ezra nonsense he was plugging on his Instagram.

Who’d have thought Australia would be jumping on the current Eurovision bandwagons for both “it’s crazy it’s party” and SMUT.

Looks like SBS accidentally put their artist announcement on YouTube early. It's been taken down but someone screen recorded. It's Go-Jo.

I don't hate it. Sheldon Riley's their only truly offensive contribution for me this decade.

It’s… not really much of a song, is it? I guess it’ll qualify then go nowhere in the final

It feels very cynical, especially that middle eight.

None of Australia's recent entries have set their local charts alight, even the ones that did well, so I suppose there's a reasonable chance of this increasing the domestic interest a bit. Should qualify comfortably anyway.

I mean when it comes to joke/novelty entries, a good-looking guy with a song that does not sound like it was created solely to win the Barbara Dex award and feature in every blooper trashing Eurovision is hardly the worst thing we can get. Just to name two from this year, this is head and shoulders above Estonia or Iceland as far as I'm concerned.

The ice cream van stuff is misjudged. It makes it feel even more paedo-y

This really is such a cynical shower of a song. I like it less with every listen.

Expect it to qualify with relative ease though.

This is one that I keep coming back to a lot. The "No Rules" of the year for me, thought it was the bad kind of novelty at first and tried to resist, but it's just too damn catchy.

Also helps that when watching the video, I find that I do want a taste of the milkshake man.

I followed his Instagram and he just seems fun if slightly obnoxious.
