Football 24-25

The most relevant comment I've ever seen about Palace. Until December (every single December) it's fucking dismal result after result. January onwards and they offer genuine magic. I've been supporting them for nearly 40 years and it's always the same!

omg. Arsenal host Real Madrid tonight in the first leg of the champions league quarters. I'm nervous. Saka is back and Martinelli looks sharp, but big Gabi is out and KIWIOR is starting. *bites nails*

Valencia beat Real at the weekend. I really don't know how this will go.

Real are out of form in many ways, but it's Real and it's the CL so...

I don't expect a significant home advantage in either leg so I'd take a draw tonight. but for the belief we probably need a home win

I’m at BRAMALL LANE hoping the Blades don’t fuck it up again.

I've been down to see the new Everton Stadium and HOLY FUCK it's amazing.

I obviously couldn't ever DARE TO DREAM of a season with both Liverpool winning the league at a canter & United being relegated, but I'm AGOG that 17th is a very distinct possibility at this point :o

I'm more excited about Scum setting the record for being relegated the earliest in the season. Still hoping they can take the worst goal difference and lowest points totals off Derby :disco:

No end of season relation battle this year, which is good news for those big clubs that are struggling.

Everton jumping above Man Utd simply because the goal difference shifted after their Newcastle thrashing was :disco:

The Premier League has just become so BORING these past few weeks (not because I’m a United fan, honest :eyes:) Liverpool running away with the title and last seasons promoted teams looking all but certain to go down, meh.

Championship promotion battle is interesting.

So is National League Premier, which has just sparked into life again over the last week. But that's just for me.

Think that’s more a battle for the play-offs now. Sheffield United have fucked things up over the last few games, unless they beat Burnley away (and they drop points elsewhere) it’s hard to see the top two being anyone but Leeds and Burnley.

The fun battle for me is Wrexham vs Wycombe for the last League One promotion spot

As much as Wycombe the town is a toilet, I can't say I care for manky old Wrexham buying a win with Hollywood money and I'd love to see them THWARTED

It’d be a shame if you dropped out of the top five, you DESERVE Champions League after the season you’ve had!

In all honesty I expect we'll get it, but I'd be more than happy with the Europa League as I think the away days would be more fun. I'm all about 90p beers in Bratislava on a Thursday, not getting spanked at the Bernabau.
