Time for another round of voting... with a TWIST

Here's how it works. Each of the eight remaining songs have been seeded based on their overall result in the game so far - Votes to save in Round 2/4 minus the votes to evict in Round 1/3
Seed #1: Gina G - Ooh Aah... Just a Little Bit (25th May) - 57 Points
Seed #2: Spice Girls - Say You'll Be There (26th October) - 55 Points
Seed #3: Spice Girls - 2 Become 1 (28th December) - 48 Points
Seed #4: George Michael - Fastlove (4th May) - 43 Points
Seed #5: Fugees - Killing Me Softly (8th June) - 44 Points
Seed #6: Spice Girls - Wannabe (27th July) - 24 Points
Seed #7: Fugees - Ready or Not (21st September) - 22 Points
Seed #8: Oasis - Don't Look Back in Anger (2nd March) - 5 Points

Based on their seed number, the songs have been split into 4 duels, as follows:
#1 vs. #8
#2 vs. #7
#3 vs. #6
#4 vs. #5

This round, the songs will be battling it out in one-on-one fashion!

For this round, you are voting for your favourite song in each Duel. The winner of each duel will move on to the Quarter-Final.

You have 4 votes, one for each duel. Make sure to vote for one song per duel, since as you can tell, voting for two songs in the same duel will have no effect. :D If there are any ties at the end of the round, I will simply deduct my own personal vote (as host) from that duel.

As for the 4 songs that lost their duel: there will be a flash vote amongst the four of them afterwards with the chance to save one of them, with the other three getting the boot.

Let's begin! :disco:

TL;DR Summary :D

fastforward-remote.gif

1) Songs have been split into duels based on the past four rounds of voting
2) Vote for your favourite to SAVE in each duel
3) Winner of each duel moves on to the Quarter-FInal
4) The four losing songs will compete in a Flash Vote, where one more song will also qualify for the Quarter-FInal
5) The Quarter-Final will have 5 songs, with 3 song eliminated this round.

The two hardest duels were the non-Spice ones for me. #4 in particular. I went for Killing Me Softly in the end. I think it's my favourite vocal performance ever committed to record. That being said, Fastlove is one of the best pop songs ever. #1 was a weird one - I suppose at the time, and throughout the rest of my life, I have been more excited by Gina G, but these days, Don't Look Back In Anger feels so full of nostalgia - it was the moment, and it's a great song.
