It was YEARS later when I actually first heard it. 2006 if I recall...

"I'm In Love" really is a thing of PURE JOY. I remember HOLLERING it out of the window of a taxi on the way from the Harcourt to the Brewers after its heat :disco:

I was a bit puzzled at the time that Sanna would follow Empty Room with something as relatively uncompetitive as I'm In Love, but in a post-Undo world I'm so glad she did. It really is sheer joy, even with the wonky stage show and lesbian hair.

I disagree. It's a brilliant slab of schlager pop, the likes of which Velvet would have given her cashier career to have fronted.
 
The sheer NOX doesn't BEAR IMAGINATION! The backing dancers would've clearly kept Velv locked firmly EN CAGE and chosen GRUESOME DEATH falling from those twirling pulleys in lieu of enduring THAT money note
 
Now I'm imagining a song swap scenario in which Velvet got I'm In Love in return for Sanna having a bash at THE QUEEN.

I'm not sure what would be more ridiculous.

Sanna's 2006 album Vägen Hem has finally found its way to Spotify.

The title track is a Melfest 2006 reject and almost as enjoyable as Hela Världen and Vågar Du for me. Though probably for the best that they gave her a year off.
