EastEnders 2025

Where the hell is Jessie Wallace?

I was also wondering where Kat was earlier and it also got me thinking about what happened with Tommy? I probably missed a few episodes but saw him at the wedding with Alfie in this evenings episode. Last I remember was he was living with Zack I think?

Yeah that’s all been slightly glossed over too. He spent Christmas with them, but that’s the last time it was mentioned, and in passing at that.

It seems like everything has probably been thrown at this week and the 40th Anniversary. They will no doubt go back to it when the festivities are over.

Lots of weird absences, Johnny (up until the previous episode), Felix, Callum, Jay and Jean. Also Billy and Honey’s nearly adult daughter especially as they’re getting married shortly?

Johnny, Callum, Jay, Jean and Janet were all in tonight’s. Jay’s absence not so weird as he was doing Strictly while the last couple of months of eps were being filmed.

Was Ben in last nights episode or was this a typo?

Louisa Lytton was just on Morning Live and she said that people think that because she is going to do a musical tour that she will be killed off but she said that isn’t happening. She could just be saying that but this makes me think it’s NOT her.

This was camp. This woman could make a cup of tea and make it CAMP.

Is it too obvious to kill a character called Ruby on the ruby anniversary of a show? Or is it genius?

I reckon that’s the whole thinking behind bringing her back. And her catching the bouquet felt OMINOUS…

I objected to Michelle Collins calling 60+ Cindy “middle aged” and then slagging off cardigans in that Ross Kemp interview yesterday

Lovely to see Dame Pam St. Clement back, and the ridiculous setup on a Routemaster bus.

I'm not especially excited about many of the plots for this anniversary. Although I am excited about the live episode (is it only partly live - they showed a clip last night?!)

It is fully live. Tonight's isn't, which is what they showed a clip of.

@lolly have ratings picked up this week in overnights do you know? Surely tonight’s and tomorrows live episode things will go through the ROOF (maybe add a couple hundred K :()

I've not seen anything, but surely they will pick up considerably. The BBC seems to be playing a blinder with it.

It is kinda fab to think Michelle Collins is the same age as Wendy Richards when Pauline died. However the contrast is night and day :disco: One was shuffling around in a cardigan watching TV waiting to die and the other is tottering around in high heel boots stealing guns, fucking her ex-husband's son and throwing people in front of cars :disco:
