Germany 2025: Abor & Tynna - Baller

The more this year reveals itself as being an utter DOGS EGG, the more I am finding spiritual solace in this depressive banger :disco:

I am already concocting excuses to avoid dinner with my colleagues tomorrow night so I can attend the UVPSM!

God I'm so excited to spend the next two months in a perverse SPIRITUAL SISTERHOOD with @Lucille taking Citalopram to this song :disco:

This really GOES OFF studio form but in Eurovision setting....yeah I struggle to see where votes will come from televote or jury. I'd be happy to be wrong but I see 18th/19th at best, sadly.

I know German pop music quite well having lived there for several years. The sound of this track is exactly what I was always hoping Germany would send. However, I don't expect there to be much of a market for it outside of German speaking countries. I am expecting a possible last place but I am so glad it is there regardless.

It seems popular with the FANS (11th on the scoreboard) if they can tighten up the vocals and nail the staging I’d hope this could finish mid-table.

That’s what I’m worried about. The studio version is ket-sniffing amazing. But the live perf I’ve seen is :ToneNervous:

This song really is the SALVATION in a holy trinity with GAJA and ZJERM

There's something really quite PRIMAL and APPEALING about an axis of Germany, Poland and Albania :disco:

Oh I'm pretty sure we can cobble together 20 or so points from the public (about half from Ukraine)

Neither Germany or the UK are getting more than 10-15 points from the public, let's be real

Oh Italy will get their customary top ten placing, if only because people will probably assume the infinitely superior San Marino entry is theirs :D

I reckon Italy are on for a result similar to Francesca.

FWIW I reckon

3-8 France
5-13 Italy
18-23 Spain
20-25 United Kingdom
23-25 Germany

Looks about right - unless BBC manage to cobble together some form of Spaceman-like performance edit of WTHJH and it sounds like vaguely like a structured song. I won’t hold my breath.
