Her 'I'm Breathless' album vocals are a (retrospective) treat!

I properly listened to the 'I'm Breathless' album for the first time in ages this evening. I was struck by how versatile her vocals were over the different tracks that make up this opus and the attention to detail she paid in order to make these tracks sound "vintage" but also unique, different and separate from the rest of her released recordings at this point in her career.

We all know about the vocal coaching she undertook to take on the role of Eva in 'Evita', but there's an impressive range here too.

32 years later and it still annoys me they released Hanky Panky but not Sooner or Later.

She really grew into her voice by that point, and it was before the Evita training changed it forever.

"Sooner or Later", "He's a Man", and "Something to Remember" are my choice deep cuts.
