I'm thinking of buying a console (1 Viewer)

I did lean that way. Then leant the other way. :)

@Iguana I hope there's enough space in the loft for this to gather dust in a few months x

They can take a while! It's quicker with the internet plugged in via ethernet, and you can also put the console into rest mode and stuff will keep downloading (I let it do it overnight or when I'm out at work if it's a big file).

Yeah in all honesty the games are like 50GB so was to be expected. I don't have it placed anywhere near the ethernet so WiFi will have to do and it does seem to be happening so I will just leave it going.

Also what games do you have?
The Last of Us (the first one), Uncharted 4, Horizon Zero Dawn. I plan to play The Last of Us then download Part 2. Also just downloaded Fall Guys and Call of Duty from PlayStation Plus.

I'd definitely like to buy GTA in the near future and maybe FIFA :D (ladsladslads)

that's a great selection to start with. it'll keep you occupied for a while

@Tisch did you add me the other day? Somebody did :tisch:

Next month's PS Plus games are Street Fighter V (which I already have and is great) and PUBG, which is a battle royale shooty game - I believe it's basically like Fortnite but without the building element, which is what always put me off. We should get some Moopy games going on both of these :o

@COB (or anyone else!) Are there any good Star Trek games for the PS4 that you could recommend? I'm not really a gamer but Star Trek would be the way into it for me probably (I had an old TNG game on my PC in about 1996 that I loved. I bet you had it too).

Little Nightmares is on sale at the moment and it's right good!

Was that A Final Unity? I did have it, but I was rubbish at it :D I was mostly just impressed at it having all the cast doing voices.

There aren't many Star Trek games in general, and fewer good ones sadly :( On the PS4 your only real option is Star Trek: Bridge Crew, which was a VR-only game but apparently can now be played without it - also I bought it in a sale and never fully got into it, so I'd be hesitant to recommend it.

As a child I had a mod for Civilization II that let you play the Cardassian occupation of Bajor :shy:

Hmm that name doesn't ring a bell but it was 25 years ago so MAYBE. The were away missions on different planets...I got stuck on one away mission and I literally played the same scene for about 6 months trying to resolve it but I just couldn't and there wasn't any help online (to the extent that there was an online back then). So I had to give up on the end. But I loved it while I could do it!

Thank you, I will check out Bridge Crew. If it's not too expensive it's worth a shot!

Ah yeah Bridge Crew looks a bit boring from the trailer, I'm less interested in controlling the ship and more interested in fun away missions and seeking out new life and new civilisations. Maybe we should create one
