I've never quite fully embraced PDP, but have recently came to appreciate it's orchestral lustre - maybe it's because I've simply never listened to mine, but the lyric just has no impact in the literal sense even if in actual fact it's an absolute blinder of a message to put out there. Go Madge! But yeah, not for me.

Dress You Up is quite the build up, exquisitely decorated and lyrically delicious, but the chorus sort of exhausts itself compared to the others. I'm critiquing a 10 btw.

Lucky Star - the production is illuminating, the structure is binding and overall it's ultra cutesy, but Madonna graduated into a higher plane with what came next. Props to Nelly and other fans though - it's still on the 10.
