Sweden's self-styled answer to Janis Joplin, secretly mega-rich Caroline Af Ugglas (literally, Caroline of the OWL DYNASTY ) made an unpromising debut in 2007 with the barely listenable Tror på dig, but made a big step up two years later with Snälla Snälla, a heartbreak ballad that captured the Swedish imagination and came within a hair's breadth of beating Malena to Moscow. I love it, but it is admittedly a bit of a buzzkill in this increasingly fabulous lineup.
