Well, a generally pleasant song romping to victory on the strength of the oldness and womanliness of the old woman singing it really says it all about the regressive shitcake of a contest that was Eurovision 2024. I don't begrudge her - crowning a winner via hysterical gay bukkake is as good a way as any to sort the chaff from the other chaff this year; it's certainly preferable to the 'look, we need to put SOMETHING on the bloody podium' quality of the winner of the real contest.
