Paris 2024 - Day 9 (Sun 4 Aug) (1 Viewer)

I caught the last half of set two and it looked like one of his best performances... ever. some incredible rallies played, most of which he got the better off.

Alcaraz somehow is significantly more dislikable than Novak so I was pleased!

I'll have to watch it after reading this.

Finally athletics are starting tonight (as far as today goes)! I'm going with the BBC this time.

I'm absolutely fine watching long distance swimming. Thank goodness for those flag graphics though, otherwise probably not.

I have LOVED the swimming

Congratulations to standard issue generic American Bobby Finke on winning the 1500m bronze

The replay we got on Eurosport of Michael Norman (pretty much all the way around from behind) was quite something.

Every year that goes by, Matt Richards looks more and more like his mother Jade Goody.

The American women are so much more dignified than the men. The men would be shouting, hitting themselves, and whooping like gibbons.

Cabo Verde are today’s country that wins their first ever medal :disco: I’m still hoping Tuvalu manage one someday

I’M A, I’M A SCORPIO!
YES, THE SEXY JEALOUS KIND
YOU HAD ME WHEN YOU SAID HI

Eurosport/Discovery have the benefit of much less athletics chatter, but the chatter they do have (feat Iwan Thomas) is so rough it has me switching right over.
