C’est la VoR
Take it or leave it
It's oh-so-cool to be snarky about Robyn on Moopy these days, but what do you actually think about this 2010 top ten hit?

I used to buy the guardian and read the critiques of albums by the Vandermark 5, and now it's this sort of shite that's getting your attention. Shame really..
'Doesn't matter how many words you write about it, the song just ain't that good. Something like Black Kids' I'm Not Gonna Teach Your Boyfriend How To Dance With You covers the same territory and is a better tune.
'This song is at least as inane as the likes of Club Can't Handle Me and OMG
This is dire. I'd have to be pilling to think, for a second, that this isn't just adolescent tripe. I can't believe a grown man, not in the employ of the Guardian, would enjoy this for a second.
This is a joke, right? It sounds like a bland Europop offering from the '80s. Anybody remember 1980s disco? Don't encourage it, for Godsakes, or it'll come back.
Tedious Eurodrivel.
And the video is like watching Pat Butcher having an epileptic fit.
OH NOES THIS ISN'T THE PRETENTIOUS MUSIC THAT I LIKE LISTENING TO
GUARDIAN YOU ARE A DISGRACE
RARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR
God, the moaning that goes on in the comments on the music blogs! Reading through the Album of the Year list was like being stuck in a corner at a party being droned at by a beardy dickhead who has to explain why nobody else really gets music.
Love it, won't ever be her best song as long as "With Every Heartbeat" is around but it comes pretty damn close...
Now THAT is an overrated bore if ever I heard one
(even 'With Every Heartbeat' was far from one of the most remembered #1 hits of that year)
You're right, The Proclaimers featuring Brian Potter & Andy Pipkin, Sean Kingston and Eva Cassidy & Katie Melua provided the true soundtrack to Oh Seven![]()
My favourite song of 2010. Unspeakably gorgeous.
