San Marino 2025: Gabry Ponte - Tutta L’Italia (3 Viewers)

I feel that MONGESONG has really raised/lowered the bar for iconically terrible national finals, and I am excited to see how the organisers of UVPSM respond.

Yes we WILL listen to a three hour improvisational jazz jam loosely based on the hits of Valentina Monetta and we will LIKE IT.

I'm sure San Marino will find a way...

So is it 100 euros to audition or 150 euros? Or do they just make it up as they go along?

"The Competition to find a new name for San Marino's song contest has been won by 'The San Marino Song Contest'."

What's going to happen next? Will they rename San Marino Outlet Experience?!

Is this all because Loredana didn’t win this year? :D

There's a few posts online about how one of the acts in the Ukrainian longlist has pulled out and entered the San Marino pre-selection instead.

But surely more interesting (to this chat longe at least) is that Alexis Strum is auditioning for San Marino too!

Somebody obviously got vouchers from San Marino Outlet Experience for Christmas.

She's only online and not even live.

Has somebody just sent one of her videos?

The line up for the first two semis (don’t worry, there are several more to come!) have been announced:

Alexis Strum is in!

I also note that, after having to pay over €100 to even audition, they get the honour of forking out another €150 to confirm their place once selected :D this scam must single handedly cover their entire fee and then some!

I assume Alexis is going with this:

Sounds like the potential for live vocal struggles... so guess will fit right in.

Today's big names include someone who was in the Luxembourg Song Contest last year and the singer who was disqualified from Moldova for being late

I was checking the names for Z-list Italian singers and Romina Falconi is the only one I recognise.

I don't think she's done anything of note since she released a summer bop in collaboration with a FUNERAL HOME in 2019.

Fifth semi has both Besa (Albania 2024) and Serafin Zubiri (Spain 1992 & 2000)

There are still more to come :D
